Who is Larry Caine?

My name is Larry Caine, and I’m a fine art nature and wildlife photographer based in Colorado — through my lens, I have followed light, landscape, and life across more than 60 countries and all seven continents.

I specialize in capturing the quiet power and raw beauty of the natural world — from the rugged peaks of the Rocky Mountains to remote jungles, deserts, and polar regions. My goal is to create images that move people — not just for how they look, but for what they evoke: stillness, wonder, and connection to something larger.

Over the years, my work has been internationally published in magazines, books, catalogs, and calendars. I’ve been honored to win or place highly in numerous photography contests judged by some of the world’s leading professional nature photographers. But more than accolades, it’s the shared experience of nature that drives me — the feeling of standing alone in the pre-dawn silence before the light breaks, or quietly watching wildlife behave in their natural habitat.

The Rocky Mountains — my home — remain one of my deepest sources of inspiration, and this collection of work from Colorado and the World beyond is among my best. I’ve curated this gallery to showcase only my most iconic and requested images from around the world. If you're looking for something specific, know that I maintain a much larger archive and am happy to work with collectors, designers, and buyers to find exactly what you need.

All of the images you see here are available as museum-quality fine art prints.

Thank you for visiting, and for supporting art that celebrates and preserves the natural world.
