Image Notes
One early summer morning, my photographer friend John and I were heading into the Colorado high country for a morning of photography. As we summited Kenosha Pass, elevation 10,000’, we suddenly looked left and saw the early pre-dawn light emerging from the east and reflected in the small lake at the summit. We immediately stopped, pulled out our tripods and quickly walked down near the water to capture the amazing reflection. After a few images, the sun rose and the light faded. And I’ve never seen the light so perfect again. A powerful moment frozen in time.
